Proudly located in Southern Pines, North Carolina, we provide on-farm and in-clinic veterinary services for horses of all breeds, disciplines and life stages. We also provide consultation and referral services to veterinarians in North Carolina as well as neighboring states. We pride ourselves on being courteous, prompt, and most of all, caring. We love our jobs and hope that this attitude shines through in all of the services we offer.




Mission Statement

Established in July of 1977 by Dr. Fred B. McCashin, Carolina Equine Clinic, PLLC is dedicated to providing the highest quality veterinary medicine for your horse.  We believe that no two horses are the same, and we are committed to providing a health care program tailored specifically to your needs.  From your upper level performance horse to your retired best friend, we care for each horse as if it were our own.  Our doctors and staff maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism, which we believe is paramount in establishing a long lasting relationship with our clients and patients.
